Congratuations to UGA Alum, Bubba Watson, for Winning the Masters
UGA alum, and former golfer for UGA, Bubba Watson is the first professional golfer with a mullet to win the Masters. In doing so, Bubba has also broken down another prejudicial barrier unfortunately found in the game of golf. Specifically, he has made his way onto the PGA tour despite the prejudice the entity has towards mullets. Way to go Bubba!

Hines Ward has decided to hang up his cleats after fourteen years in the NFL—the whole time with the Pittsburg Steelers.
According to Wikipedia, which is 100% accurate 10% of the time, as well as my personal recollection and belief, which is beyond dispute, the Steelers drafted Ward in round three of the 1998 NFL Draft. Since then, Super Bowl XL’s MVP became the team’s all-time leader in receptions, receiving yardage and touchdown receptions. We in the Bulldog Nation, however, remember him as an all-purpose athlete at UGA.

Hoping to inject some steroids to a weakened offensive line, Coach Richt jumped on news of a Max Garcia's departure from the University of Maryland so he can transfer to an SEC school. Garcia, a native of Georgia, is a 6-ft, 4 in, 290 lb sophmore and Georgia native Maryland gracioulsy let go so he could play closer to home. Both Muschamp and Spurrier are going after the experienced player as well. Hopefully he will find Athens is a hell of a lot closer to his hometown of Norcross than either Gainsville or Columbia. We shall see.
