An Update on the 2012 Dawgs
As many of y'all know, Tampa native, Orson Charles, has decided to leave UGA in order to enter the NFL draft, and we all wish him and his family the best of luck, and thank him for a job well done. Fortunately, however, the tightend is the only experienced player leaving the Dawgs early. The AJC has reported outside linebacker Cornelius Washington, defensive end Abry Jones and defensive backs Bacarri Rambo, Sanders Commings, Shawn Williams and Branden Smith have elected to skip the NFL's 2012 draft. Moreover, do not expect to see Hunter Mason take any snaps next season. No, the back-up quarterback sitting behind Aaron Murray is not transferring. Instead, he has accepted a redshirt in order to extend his stay at Georgia, and better place himself as Georgia's first-string quarterback after Murray leaves Georgia--hopefully after graduating.
